This unprecedented method allows for simple and rapid colorimetric determination of the presence of asbestos in building materials. Please use it for sampling before demolition or renovation work on buildings, as a pre-processing step for "pre-survey," and as a screening and monitoring tool before detailed analysis. No sample pretreatment is required and operation is simple. It is easy to carry and the measurement takes only about 5 minutes.
