This filter paper allows you to easily compare the saltiness of miso soup and other dishes as a reference for reducing salt intake. The filter papers come in a set of seven types with salt (NaCl) contents of 0, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, and 1.6 mg/cm2. Place each filter paper on your tongue and compare the saltiness based on which filter paper with the salt content feels saltier. This is for reference when reducing salt intake (not for diagnosing taste sensitivity).
