Dots are printed on the recording tape at the same frequency as the AC power supply frequency.
The tape stand can be moved, allowing recording to be done more than once on one side of the tape.
You can use plain paper tape.
In order to prevent the tape from flapping, a tape folding tool is attached to the base to create a crease in the tape.
