This medium complies with the medium composition stipulated in the Food Safety Bureau Notification No. 0729-4 dated July 29, 2015, "Amendment of the test method for Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus stipulated in the specifications and standards for food additives, etc." This medium is used for pre-enrichment culture in the Salmonella test for foods and for dilution of specimens in the Staphylococcus aureus test. It is also used to test animal feed for Salmonella.
