The cushioning effect is enhanced. Exhibits good static friction or adhesion. At 20°C, the vapor pressure is 4.6×10-9 Torr. Its powerful gettering action absorbs potentially harmful grease and chemical impurities from metal and glass surfaces. It is soluble in hydrocarbon solvents, making it easy to clean and remove.
