It is a molded and sintered product whose main components are neodymium, iron, and boron.
The extremely high magnetic energy is the best of any magnet currently available.
It has excellent mechanical strength with little cracking or chipping.
Another major advantage is that they are cheaper than samarium-cobalt magnets, which are the same rare earth magnets.
It is also suitable for machining to create shapes suited to specific applications and for small-scale prototyping.
Because of its high magnetic properties, it is possible to make magnets with strong magnetic force even in small sizes.
We handle not only regular materials (N-40), but also strong neodymium (N-52, N-55) and heat-resistant neodymium (N-40SH), etc.
It has poor temperature characteristics, and while normal materials (N-40) can only be used at temperatures below 80°C, heat-resistant neodymium, which can only be used at temperatures below 220°C, is also widely used.
Since it rusts easily, it is surface treated with nickel plating.
Surface treatments available include nickel plating, epoxy coating, nylon coating, fluororesin coating, zinc plating, and gold plating. Residual magnetic flux density: 1.17T (11,700G) to 1.32T (13,200G)
