If you use a disinfectant, rinse the wound thoroughly with tap water so that no disinfectant remains in the wound. (When replacing this product, wash the wound in the same way.) (2) Cut the Plus Moist to a size slightly larger than the wound, and place the mesh sheet side (white) over the wound, making sure it adheres firmly. (Do not remove the skin-colored film.) (3) Fix PlusMoist in place with a bandage, net, tape, etc. to prevent it from slipping off the wound. If you use tape to fix it in place, make sure to leave some of the edges of PlusMoist open. (4) Normally, you can continue to use the product until the exudate starts to leak out from around the product, but we recommend replacing it as soon as possible. (We recommend replacing it at least once a day.) Also, if you are concerned about your clothes getting dirty from the exudate that leaks out from around the product, cover the product with gauze or something similar.
