The PVMK is a fast acting in-line or L-shaped lever valve. The lever is connected to a self-lubricating plastic cam spindle which actuates the valve stem and valve plate via PTFE bearings. The presence of 'O' ring grooves in the valve plate prevents gas bursts. The valve operates over a pressure range from 10-9 mbar / 8 x 10-10 Torr to 2100 mbar / 1575 Torr (32 psi).
