Comes in a vinyl case for easy portability.
Stable testing can be performed using standard colorimetric plates.
It can easily measure residual chlorine in drinking water and pool water, helping with hygiene management.
The color comparison plate is removable, so dirt and cloudiness can be removed and it can also be replaced.
This is a simple measurement method based on a specific reaction that occurs when DPD reagent is added to water containing residual chlorine, resulting in a pale reddish purple color depending on the amount of residual chlorine.
The reagent needs to be added once (twice if you are measuring total residual chlorine, use the optional potassium iodide as well).
This measuring instrument can distinguish between free residual chlorine and total residual chlorine.
When used in conjunction with potassium iodide reagent (sold separately), total residual chlorine can be measured, and the combined residual chlorine concentration can be calculated from the difference between the total residual chlorine concentration and the free residual chlorine concentration.
Uses: For water quality control of tap water, swimming pools, public baths, dialysis water (total residual chlorine), etc.
*Measurements may not be possible for samples containing a large amount of interfering substances, such as hot spring water or seawater. Measurement range (mg/L): 2.0 to 10
