SAMURAI brand Kamizawa Seiko's patented curved blade saw.
Fast, easy and fatigue-free.
The "Ichiban" series is a curved blade type/coarse grit.
For forests, landscaping, fruit trees, and temporary frames.
With a typical straight blade saw, you hold it down against the wood and pull it towards you to make a cut, but with a curved blade, you simply lightly touch it to the wood and pull it, and the tip of the blade cuts into the wood one after another.
The angle of the teeth is changed and positioned so that the effort required to cut wood is the same no matter where you cut on the curved blade, and the saw will not get clogged even when cutting with the tip of the blade.
The teeth are designed to be suitable for horizontal, diagonal and vertical cuts, so it can cut wood at any angle.
Since there are no clams, the cut is smooth and clean.
The cutting edge is impact hardened, so it lasts approximately eight times longer than conventional saws (compared to Kanzawa Seikosha saws).
By grinding both sides of the saw blade into an R shape, contact with the cutting surface of the wood is greatly reduced, and by creating more escape routes for wood chips at the bottom of the teeth, cutting is done lightly, quickly and easily with less resistance.
The shape of the handle was finalized after engineers repeatedly checked the grip and made repeated improvements based on customer feedback.
In addition, the special elastomer rubber provides a comfortable grip. Body weight (g): 192
