The Ostwald viscometer is a viscometer used for comparative measurements. Put a liquid sample in the range of 5 to 8 mL (always a constant volume) into the lower bulb shown in the right figure using a pipette or similar. Immerse the viscometer in a thermostatic water bath for viscometers up to above the marked line A. After sucking up the liquid sample to above the marked line A, let it flow naturally and measure the time it takes for the liquid sample volume from marked line A to B to flow down the capillary. Using the same method, measure a standard liquid with known viscosity, but be careful to make sure the volume of liquid put into the lower bulb is the same. There are No. 1 to No. 6 depending on the capillary diameter. This is a relative viscometer for comparative measurements. The bulb capacity is about 3 mL. Quantity: 1 piece
