By attaching Biopak, RNase, DNase and endotoxin free water can be collected. By using a UF membrane with a molecular weight cutoff of 13,000, macromolecular impurities of biological origin such as RNase, DNase, and endotoxin are reliably removed. There is no need for DEPC treatment, which can be toxic, and the water can be used in experiments immediately after collection. It is also suitable for preparing Tris buffers that cannot be DEPC-treated. It is possible to obtain the same flow rate as when a membrane filter is installed. It can be installed on Milli-Q and other Merck Millipore ultrapure water production systems. It is easy to operate as it only requires connecting to the water collection port.
