It is an alloy of chromium, nickel and molybdenum with a cobalt base. With a Vickers hardness of over 500, it has excellent wear resistance. It is non-magnetic. There is no solder adhesion. The heat resistance temperature is -269 to 500°C. (The heat resistance temperature is the guideline for the temperature at which the material will not deteriorate.) It is not 100% magnetized even in a magnetic field. 100% corrosion and rust free. High quality Swiss made tweezers. The tip is gently curved and sharp, making it suitable for detailed work.
