It is ideal for cloning unstable genes that contain repeat sequences. Ideal for cloning retroviral/lentiviral vectors. The transformation efficiency is 1-5 x 108 cfu/μg pUC19 DNA. Represses DNA recombination (recA1). Inhibits DNA degradation (endA1). Blue/white screening is possible. Transformation can be achieved in 5 minutes (transformation efficiency is 1 x 107 cfu/μg pUC19 DNA). When used in combination with Gibson Assembly, the success rate of cloning genes containing repeat sequences is improved.
