This braided sleeve is resistant to fraying even when cut with scissors. NFL tubes are woven using a special manufacturing process, making them a soft type of stretchable tube (mesh tube (sleeve)) that can be conveniently cut neatly with scissors. Unlike regular products, no special cutter is required, allowing for speedy protective binding in any location. The cut parts are less likely to fray even without the need for heat welding, and will maintain the neat condition they were in when cut. It has excellent abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance, and is extremely durable. The braided structure provides gaps to prevent heat from being trapped and allows for identification and inspection of the installed wires. It stretches to twice its natural diameter and is softer and more flexible than the standard type, making it a very effective braided sleeve for protecting delicate wires such as optical cables.
