Eppendorf Protein LoBind plates are designed specifically for the fields of proteomics and protein research, where protein concentrations tend to be very small and sample recovery is critical to the outcome of your assay.
Most of the protein is recovered for downstream analysis and the enzyme remains active.
Eppendorf LoBind material ensures optimal sample recovery for improved assay results
No surface coating (e.g. silicone) to minimize risk of sample interference
Lot-certified PCR clean purity grade: free of human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors
We offer tubes, microplates, and deep well plates to accommodate a variety of experimental scales.
Precision cover sealing reduces evaporation
When biological samples are stored or incubated in standard tubes or plates, more than 90% of the sample can be lost within 24 hours due to adsorption to plastic surfaces.
Protein LoBind Tubes maximize sample recovery by reducing sample binding to the surface.
A special two-component polymer creates a hydrophilic surface which increases recovery rates, ensuring optimal recovery of your valuable samples.
Protein LoBind Tubes have been specially developed for use in protein research or sensitive proteomic studies, often resulting in significantly improved analytical results.
Eppendorf Protein LoBind Products
These products are available in tube, microplate and deepwell plate formats to meet different application needs and accommodate a variety of sample volumes and throughput capacities.
Eppendorf Protein LoBind tubes outperform other low-bind tubes by providing extremely high protein recovery after 96 hours of incubation (see Application Note 180 for more information).
MALDI–TOF analysis
Eppendorf Protein LoBind tubes provide significantly higher signals than standard tubes for MALDI–TOF analysis of the peptide angiotensin I.
Analysis at the 1 pmol level is not possible in standard micro test tubes.
