This stage combines a ball guide XY axis stage and a flat Z axis stage. We also offer a stainless steel type (TSDS-605*) that can be used for vacuum applications. Products with FP at the end of their part number use fine pitch screws. Please note that this is not a typical micrometer head. When operating with a screw pitch of 0.25 mm, a hex wrench or a separately sold hex wrench with knob (KCL) is required. *Due to its structure, the Z-axis cannot be installed and used upside down because there is a risk that the spring inside the stage will not be able to withstand the load and will stretch. *The Z-axis is structured using the principle of leverage, so there will be deviations in the feed amount relative to the scale depending on the position of the movement (approximately ±0.02mm for 0.5mm/1 rotation of the micrometer head).
